I classify all of my miniatures as being in 1:12 scale. That means a mini will measure 1 inch for every 12 inches an item measures in real life. When I find inspiration, I measure it and then shrink it to the proper scale. However, that doesn't mean that my item will always be the exact same size as others on the market. 1:12 scale is not an absolute measurement and items will vary with style.
